The Gist

I know being a bridesmaid comes with a cost, and given the extra burden of traveling to Austin, I want to try to make being my bridesmaid as easy as possible. Here are a few things I wanted to share:

• The most important thing to me is that we all feel good, confident, supported, and as stress-free as possible. More than anything, I want this time to be fun and celebratory.

• The second most important thing is that you feel like you are working within your means to cover the basics (e.g. dress, shoes, etc). Please talk to me if anything is feeling out of reach for you.

• I’d like to be involved in the planning process for the shower and help brainstorm ideas for cute themes, food, locations, invites, games, etc.

• I’m very open and flexible with dresses (fabrics, styles, stores) - I have a general scheme I’m going for and ideas about colors that I think each of you would look HAWT in, but other than that, I want you to prioritize comfort, confidence, and not breaking the bank.

The only thing I care about matching are your shoes and accessories, which brings me to what’s covered in your bridesmaid package :)
